Background
Rescue 3 International is the largest accrediting body for technical rescue programs in the world. We develop curriculum and accrediting training programs across various technical rescue disciplines, including water, technical rope and rigging, ice, boat, confined space and medical.
WRT-Rec
The White-water Rescue Technician – Recreational (WRT-Rec) course is for recreational paddlers who wish to have a rescue capability while paddling in a non-professional white-water environment with their peers.
This course covers important components like risk assessment and hazard management, river running considerations, swimming in fast moving water, self-rescue, casualty management, rope work plus all the “bread and butter” skills for river people.

We run small courses with a minimum of 6 and no more than 12 students per course with one instructor and up to 16 students with 2 instructors.
