ABSEILING INFORMATION

Abseiling, also known as rappelling, is a thrilling, adrenaline-fuelled experience which sees you make a controlled descent off a vertical drop using a rope. Step off the edge of our 40m cliff and take in the beauty of the Boyd River.  


This is a fully guided abseiling experience on real rock. You will receive continual encouragement and instruction on rock safety, abseiling equipment and techniques, so you can have a safe and adrenaline-pumping experience. You will get to have multiple jumps!


CATERING

No catering - please bring own food and snacks. There are picnic tables and BBQs available at the bottom of the cliff along the footpath. There is also drinking water stations available in this area.


PARTICIPATION INFORMATION 

·       No experience necessary. 

·       There is no upper age limit. 

·       Minimum age is 6 years old.


WHAT TO WEAR / BRING

  • Hair net or hair band if you have long hair
  • Longer style shorts or exercise pants
  • Enclosed lace-up shoes (old joggers or sneakers)
  • Personal medications
  • Water bottle (2 litres recommended)
  • Sunscreen, hat, sunglasse


PLEASE NOTE

This event is being run as a Church Community event at a very reduced price to cover insurance and wear and tear on ropes, hard waar, helmets and harnesses.
