FMYC Two Hour Low Activity for Groups

All of our activities are facilitated in a way that can develop teamwork, communication and confidence or any character qualities that would like to be developed.

Activities may include:

Low ropes

Bush Craft

Team initiatives games

Bushwalking

Commando Course

Bird watching and feeding (Info sessions)

Raft Building

Life Skills; and

Navigation

For a four hour session there will be three activities that are chosen from this list. These will be dependent on staff qualifications and equipment availability. But the Commando course will be run unless told otherwise.

Please aim to arrive 10 minutes prior to your session in order to gather your group, organize waivers and be ready to start your session on time with the mandatory safety talk.

If you arrive earlier than 15 minutes prior to your session, please be aware that the instructors will be out on the field setting up for your session until this time. Therefore, please gather and wait on the grassy area in front of the carpark where one of our instructors will come to meet you and take you down to the course.

Do not enter the activities area without an FMYC Instructor.

Before you head down for your session, don’t forget to make sure everyone has:

ü Hat

ü Water bottle

ü Enclosed Shoes

ü Appropriate activewear

ü Snack

ü Sunscreen

ü Signed waiver

During the Commando Course session the participants may
get very wet and muddy. Therefore please bring a change of clothes and shoes.
If it looks like rain please bring a jumper that can also get wet and
muddy. We have hoses to wash off the mud at the end of the session. It is Mudtastic!!

If you are wanting to make use of the BBQ, be sure to bring along BBQ utensils and something
to clean it with afterwards. Cost of BBQ hire is just $10.

The waiver will be sent out once your booking has been confirmed.
